In my freshman year of college, I had a color theory class project where we could use any medium we wanted. Trying to save time and avoid sewing a new garment, I decided to experiment with a program called CLO3D. I had never heard of it before but figured it would be easier than sewing. Spoiler alert: I was completely wrong. It turned out to be one of the hardest mediums I’d ever worked with.

But despite the challenge, I was instantly hooked. I loved everything about it: defying gravity, manipulating volume, and creating anything I could imagine. It was thrilling, and I realized right then that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.

Since that first project, I’ve been pursuing my passion for digital fashion design whenever I can. Between my regular classes, I started designing clothes for The Sims using Blender and continued learning and experimenting with CLO3D.

By junior year, I declared my minor in Visual Effects. It felt like the perfect way to dive deeper into 3D digital design and rendering, giving me the tools to bring my digital fashion ideas to life.
