Projects

Draping

This piece is inspired by the over-the-top maximalist style of the Rococo era and the textured, dramatic oil paintings from that time. It features a mix of draping techniques like style lines, folds, and pleats to create movement and texture. The voluminous shapes and exaggerated details really lean into the idea of maximalism, celebrating the richness and ornate themes that makes Rococo so unique. It’s about embracing the beauty of going big and bold.

Digital

This portfolio piece features two winter looks designed and rendered in Clo3D, focusing on experimenting with elements in the program like textures, pressure, and gravity. The project explores realistic fabric simulation and natural draping, showcasing the creative potential of digital fashion design.

Design

The "White Project" was a conceptual design challenge, requiring the use of entirely white materials to emphasize form and texture. This dystopian piece explores the societal view of women as objects of reproduction, symbolically represented through the idea of a cocoon. The cocoon shape captures the duality of confinement and transformation—reflecting both the restrictive roles imposed on women and their potential for self-determination and growth. Layered texture, geometric, and organic shapes add dimension to the design, telling a story of strength and transformation while highlighting the limits society often places on women.

Sketching

This is a digital fashion illustration project using photoshop to render types of materials and prints. Garments are runway looks from Maison Margiela, Minh Phuong, Moda Operandi, and Pixie Rebels.

Concept

This portfolio book showcases a collection and it's conceptual process that is inspired by digital fashion, merging the tangible with the virtual. The concept explores the use of innovative materials and fabric manipulations that appear warped or glitched to the eye, mimicking the distortions of corrupted computer files. The designs challenge traditional perceptions of reality in fashion, blurring the line between physical craftsmanship and digital aesthetics.
